Syrian Refugee Column Draws Responses

Thanks to Nancy Zimmerman and Paul Klein for their letters to the editor in response to my column about Syrian refugees published a couple of weeks ago. My column questioned whether Obama’s plan to accept 10,000 Syrian refugees is wise in light of the San Bernardino massacre, reports that ISIS fighters have infiltrated the refugees and what we have learned about our government’s unreliable process for vetting the refugees.

I wonder how those who support President Obama’s plan to accept 10,000 Syrian refugees feel now in light of the recent terror attack in San Bernadino, California, that left 14 dead and 17 injured?

Our Feckless President

Feckless. It’s my new favorite word. It means ineffective or incom­­pe­tent, and it’s been applied a lot lately to describe President Obama’s policy or rather lack of one towards Islamic terrorism. Unfortunately, the description fits.
